If you think there are issues with your booking, transfer, tickets, luggage, seating, air condition, or staff and service... please check out any other company. Wahana is the best, run by local people, not some Chinese guys in Java or Sanur. Boat safety is good, service friendly, prices normal. They have a variety of agents working with them, so check that you talking to Wahana agent and not some random people. When we needed tickets cause every Fast ferry to Gili was fully booked over Nyepi holiday, Wahana managed to get us tickets 10min before departure. We only use Wahana Vivendra as everything else is just painful in terms of communication, service and comfort.

We booked this fast boat from Bali to Lombok after hearing all the positive reviews. I am very nervous on boats and ferries considering I’ve had a few bad experiences. I was so impressed by this company from their smooth check in process and island tax payment you have to do (counters are next to each other) to the smooth and very comfortable ride (large seats, good AC, clean) and organisation of luggage. Indonesia is not on the top of my list when it comes to travel safety and I really felt that Wahana is making a step in the right direction.

Fantastic service. Took the boat twice. Even in bad weather the sailing was good. Very clean, comfortable and well organized boat. I highly recommend also because the luggage is stored within the boat not on the top where it can get wet which is a huge issue if it rains like on our return journey. Only issue we had was finding the office in Gili T as they have not updated Google yet so the office is just past jungle bar to left of the port not to the right. Other than that I highly recommend

Caught the fast boat to and from Pedang Bai to Gili Air. Shuttle bus picked us up from our resort in Ubud and drove to the Port. Everything ran smoothly for the most part. The staff really look after you, they make sure you and your belongings are safe to and from the meeting point to the disembarking. We only had one slight hiccup on the return drop-off location. The driver was misinformed, and we had to explain where we were told we would be taken to. He seemed upset and was a bit rude. I think the language barrier was an issue. Make sure your drop off location on return is clearly written on your booking slip. And the seats are so comfy, and the views from the deck are amazing.

Wahana Virendra is a ferry company based in Indonesia , which provides big fast boats to travel to the various nearby islands from padang Bai, in Bali, Indonesia. I traveled in their fast boat, with my family, when going from Bali to Gili Trawangan island. The big fast boats have a sitting capacity of more than 100 seats. It took around one hour and 30 minutes for this journey. These fast boats are really very fast, and they jump & thud over the sea water, over the waves, making huge water splashs all around. The boats are fully air conditioned, comfortable and also have a washroom inside. One has to however bend a little before entering & exiting from the main entrance of the boat to avoid the head banging against the lesser height door of the boat.
